Teachers agree: Bad teachers with tenure tough to fire

In a survey conducted by Education Sector, teachers said taht they believe that it is too tough to fire poor teachers and almost half say that they know of a teacher who is ineffective and should be fired. The study also showed problems with teacher evaluation, with only a quarter saying that their evaluation was useful and effective.
