Michelle Rhee, Chancellor of DC Schools, dismissed 24 principals and released the district's plan for improvement after not meeting the required progress required by No Child Left Behind. The plan is a combination of restructuring several schools by changing school personnel, implementing instructional reforms and turning the operation of certain schools over to outside organizations.
