Campuses use own discretion on weapons

Although Colorado allows concealed weapons for those with a permit, higher ed institutions are allowed to make their own rules regarding weapons on campus. All institutions in the state, with the exception of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, ban concealed weapons. CSU Fort Collins allows them on campus, but not in student residences. Police and military training institutions also allow weapons.
