Terrence G. Wiley is a professor and the director of the Division of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the College of Education at Arizona State University, where he also serves as co-director of the Language Policy Research Unit with Professor Wayne Wright (www.language-policy.org). His research focuses on language policy, literacy, biliteracy, and language diversity. Prior to coming to ASU, Wiley was joint professor of education and linguistics at California State University, Long Beach, where he received the university's Distinguished Professor Scholarly and Creative Achievement Award and recognition for work in multicultural education.
