Sean P. Corcoran is Assistant Professor of Educational Economics at the Steinhardt School of Education, New York University, and an affiliated faculty of the NYU Wagner School of Public Service. His research interests include state and local public finance, labor economics, the economics of education, and applied (micro) econometrics. Professor Corcoran is a research associate of the Economic Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., is the principal investigator for major grants related to the political economy of school finance from both the Spencer and Russell Sage Foundations, and was recently a 2005-06 visiting scholar at the Russell Sage Foundation. His recent publications can be found in the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, the Journal of Urban Economics, and the American Economic Review.
